King's Kid Farm: Water Supply

Systemic poverty in Uganda requires a holistic approach to making the Gospel known among the marginalized. Multiply partners with Robert and Esther Mponye, founders of King’s Kid School, who are working to bring not only quality education but essential vocational training to children who would otherwise be overlooked.
In order to become more self-sustaining, Kings Kids School is running a farm which grows crops such as corn and bananas, providing approximately 40% of the yearly food supply needed to care for the students. The remaining needed food has had to be purchased from other sources, and Kings Kid School is now aiming to maximize the productivity of their own farm through the digging of a well that will be a source of plentiful, clean water, aiding in both raising livestock and in irrigation of their crops during the dry season.
Donations to this project will go towards construction costs and the purchase of equipment required for the initial set-up of the well and irrigation systems.
